NeuroRestorative, -a member of the Sevita family, - provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In the Business Finance Director role, you will help this company in its commitment to serve others by overseeing financial operations in multiple states to ensure quality, maximize revenue and profit, and implement growth and diversification efforts in accordance with corporate goals, philosophies, and values.

  • Oversee state preparation of budgets and accounting operations to ensure that financial results are correctly stated
  • Work closely with Executive Director/State Management Teams to achieve operating and strategic goals
  • Perform monthly review/analysis of financial results with recommendations and action steps to deal with variances
  • Assess billing and cost reporting requirements and establish procedures to support them
  • Establish/maintain productive relationships with key resources (operations managers, external payers, etc.)
  • Participate in the divisional management team
  • Coordinate activities and share responsibility for projects with other key divisional staff
  • Provide leadership for a team in fiscal and administrative systems regarding development/training
  • Serve as primary liaison to CFO and corporate finance to, primarily, articulate field operation's needs for support and assistance
  • Provide assistance to corporate finance staff in developing systems and approaches to address company requirements while remaining responsive and sensitive to field needs
  • Establish and maintain the necessary billing and receivables tracking systems to maximize collections and cash flow (minimize DSO)
  • Assist in business development activities and new business opportunities, review and prepare proposals for new starts and acquisitions, and meet/present proposals to potential customers
  • Maintain an effective control environment for the accounting operations Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
    • Minimum 10 years of experience, including 5 years of experience in financial management
    • Experience with healthcare cost reporting, Medicaid reimbursement, and desktop computer applications
    • Experience in the implementation of an enterprise accounting system or Oracle
    • Demonstrated flexibility, efficient time management, and ability to prioritize workload
    • Ability to multitask and outstanding attention to detail
