We want innovative and driven people who will embrace our shared purpose and goals as we build the future of housing together.We are looking to add an Assistant Project Manager to our rapidly growing team.Job DescriptionAssist the Project Management team in all areas of assigned projects including, but not limited to: (i) monitoring the design process (schematic design through construction documents, and shop drawings), (ii) develop and maintain modular unit specifications, develop and maintain scope of work documents, prepare product submittals, initiate request for information, develop project logistics' planning and scheduling.Assist with contract administration, including draft and negotiation of contract documents, manage and monitor contractual obligations, develop and manage change orders, prepare timely payment applications.Assist in the preparation of change proposals, negotiate change orders, execute change orders, issue change orders to subcontractors and others and prepare revisions to the master cost breakdown as a result of change orders and management revisions.Assists in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports that discuss, in detail, the status of the projects.Analyze, monitor, and prepare cost exposure reports and cash flow projections; maintain comprehensive budgets, monitor and maintain schedules.Assist the Senior Project Manager in developing the monthly job status report and participate in the preparation of the Cost Analysis Worksheet.Participate in all project meetings, takes meeting minutes and distributes to all project team members in a timely fashion.Coordinate project deliverables with internal company divisions, including Design, Manufacturing and Construction.Problem resolution including, but not limited to, scheduling, contractual, and conflict issues.Communicate with all project stakeholders on a regular basis.QualificationsA minimum of three (3) years of related project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.Bachelor's degree in construction, design, architecture, engineering or related field.Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and familiarity with cloud base project management tools such as Builder Trend, Pipeline Deals, and alike; MS Project experience preferredDemonstrated ability to read, understand and interpret contractGood oral and written communication skills.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals at all levels, both internal and external.Strong leadership, organizational and decision-making skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationExcellent salary, benefits (paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)), as well as growth potential.Salary Requirements must be submitted for consideration.EOEVBC is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
