    Job Overview:The Head of Talent Management and Leadership Development will play the lead role in shaping and integrating key aspects of the talent ecosystem, including succession, leadership and capability development, engagement, career development and mobility, and organization effectiveness.Responsibilities: Build talent and leadership pipeline identification and development process; architect and own enterprise approach to talent reviews and succession planning Develop new approaches to strengthen diversity of talent pipeline Deliver consistent suite of talent assessment tools; advance organizational capability to identify, develop and retain talent Build and maintain effective relationships with business leaders, HR partners, and external partners to support a wide range of efforts on training, coaching, communications, and talent management content creation to foster the ongoing growth of talent within the organization. Build future-focused leadership development programs to accelerate pipeline talent Deliver fit-for-purpose solutions for enhancing culture and organization effectiveness, including support for driving enterprise innovation and agility, collaboration and change Own and continuously adapt our enterprise approaches to performance, career development and mobility Track and measure outcomes of initiatives and programs to determine their efficacy and ensure alignment with forward-looking strategic priorities; implement talent scorecard to drive focus and outcomes; advance ability to capture and use talent insights at scale Strengthen community and foster employee engagement through initiatives, external recognition, and programming that supports branding and employee career growth, positively impacts employee retention, and aligns with Certara culture and values; track and measure progress using regular survey mechanisms
    Education, Experience, Training, and Knowledge: 15+ years of business and/or human resources experience, with 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering, talent development, learning, consulting, or other roles that requires similar expertise Ability to directly partner with and influence senior leadership and actively participate in senior talent processes, exercising excellent judgment, discretion, and communication abilities Proven ability to analyze problems, identify key information and interpret data to develop strategy & implement processes to effectively resolve Experience building and maintaining relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
    Business acumen - ability to understand the business strategy and growth levers Organizational effectiveness - ability to build and drive enterprise programs or initiatives Leadership - ability to build strong teams, develop talent, and drive engagement BA/BS required, and advance degree preferred with a background in Industrial/Organizational Psychology helpful but not required
    Skills & Abilities: Strong relationship oriented leader with experience in the direct development and implementation of talent strategies that have been proven drivers of business performance Proactive and innovative strategic thinker with hands on operational and implementation experience and the ability to align processes and systems to support the organization's strategic objectives Excellent communication, project management and change management skills Self confident influencer with the ability to build relationships at all levels, "sell" the talent agenda, and respectfully challenge/defend ideas based on thoughtful analysis of data and trends Consistent follow through and communication to the organization is important. Strong business and financial acumen Successful candidate must be flexible and adaptable and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, diverse, global organization
