Job SummaryResponsible for analyzing and evaluating strategic business opportunities, initiatives, merger, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures. Conducts market analysis, researches and monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Assists in the planning, development, and analysis of business objectives, long-range and strategic plans, and organizational strengths and weakness. Develops process and procedures to implement functional strategies. This job is an individual contributor role that does not have direct responsibility for supervision or performance management of staff.Job DescriptionComcast is expanding the organization which develops and implements the company s overall wireless strategy. We desire to develop a team which will drive innovation and appropriate investments to ensure the company is both competitive and innovative at the intersection of wireless and wireline services, including use of its core strengths of 27+ million customer relationships, 22+ million WiFi hotspots, state of the art network assets and unparalleled entertainment generation and distribution capabilities.As Manager Wireless Strategy & Analytics, you will:

  • Contribute to the group s efforts in identifying, evaluating and implementing wireless growth initiatives

  • Report to the VP of Wireless Strategy and Product PlanningPrimary Responsibilities:
    • Manage data analytics, visual analytics, forecasting, data modeling, and data reporting in support of identifying and developing wireless growth opportunities
    • Analyze and report on and key wireless industry trends and their implications to Comcast
    • Help transform growth initiatives into commercial go-to-market plans. Support implementation within Comcast s business units across technology, product, marketing, pricing, finance and other functional areas
    • Ingest, manipulate, analyze and output large amounts of data
    • Source, evaluate and manage external and internal data provider relationships
    • Build and manage wireless analytics infrastructure and tools
    • Work as part of a team that collaborates across all of Comcast s businesses globally
    • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
    • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assignedPreferred Qualifications:
      • Background in wireless corporate finance, strategy, investment banking, equity research or consulting
      • Strong quantitative skills in financial modelling and forecasting
      • Expert proficiency with analytical tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview, SQL, Teradata or Microsoft Visio
      • Ability to communicate and socialize complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
