Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager supports multiple infrastructure and/or business application IS&T project assignments. Leads large-scale, complex technology initiatives and is a leader within the IS&T PMO office. Plans, organizes, assigns, allocates and oversees effectiveness of resources, ensure successful delivery of projects. Creates detailed project plans, status reports, risk registers and a variety of supporting project management documents. Prioritizes and drives activity. Organizes and presents project health information to all key stakeholders including project sponsors and senior IS&T leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Adheres to all IS&T processes and procedures including Intake, Governance, Change Control and Communications.
• Maintains project charter, scope, project tasks, agendas and delivers timely minute minutes.
• Creates detailed project plans which adhere to typical SDLC fundamentals following waterfall or agile methodologies.
• Adheres to project timelines, budget and scope and follows project change processes as required.
• Fosters collaborative and productive relationships among team members.
• Maintains current knowledge of the Jefferson enterprise, clinical information systems and other products and technologies in the healthcare marketplace.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION : PMP & ITIL Certification preferred _________________________________________________________________________ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : 8+ years of experience focused primarily in project management and technology delivery PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management Certification preferred Must possess IT experience implementing common industry technologies and systems Clinical information systems experience in the healthcare marketplace preferred ________________________________________________________________________ ADDITIONAL INFORMATION : Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project Management tools is essential for this position along with outstanding organizational, communication skills and an overall commitment to best practices and procedures.
