Vice President of Foodservice Sales Job Locations US-PA-Hatfield Requisition ID 2021-15260 # of Openings Remaining 1 Employment Status Regular Full-Time Shift 1st Shift Overview The Vice President of Foodservice will lead our Foodservice, National Accounts, and Business to Business segments for packaged meats. This role is ultimately responsible for strategic planning and execution of our go-to-market strategy in these channels. Responsibilities The Vice President of Foodservice Sales is responsible for:-- Talent Management-- Hire, develop and retain top talent across the business development team Manage and develop Director team Support Director team in key decisions relating to customers, team members and growth opportunity Develop sustainable succession plan for each channel Develop and ensure execution of robust Customer Solutions training platform Customer Engagement-- Customer Segmentation- in place and used to drive resource allocation and behaviors Ensure most effective sales processes are in place and maximized Business engagment with the key customers across the development pipeline Purposefully engage with high level contact at key customers Create a focus on the customer in the actions the cross-functional team takes Make high impact decisions related to channel growth and profitability Performmance Management-- Lead annual KPI development process for respective channels. Utilize combination of leading and lagging indicators.-- Ensure delivery of annual sales results and ROI Lead established cadence of meetings across channels Manage functional budget Align expectations and behaviors across the business development team Align with and influence the culture of the Customer Solutions team Create a vision and implement CRM best practices Team/Voice of CFG-- Participate and advise in marketing and category management process to ensure growth Engage Senior team in customer activities as executive sponsors of key accounts Advocate for strategic customers across the organization Present business updates and reviews to key stakeholders across the organization Attend weekly Customer Solutions meetings Attend and participate in industry events Attend and participate in company business update meetings Provide leadership to issue resolution for high impact quality and service level issues Ensure activities and decisions align with the Company's Core Values and Key Expectations Hone expertise by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. Strategic Planning-- Lead Foodsevice, National Accounts, and B2B team(s) in the development of channel-specific go-to market growth strategies Determine channel business development structure to support go-to-market strategy Ensure market activation plans for product innovation by channel and by brand/private-label is reflective of the customer solutions strategy Lead annual budgeting process- ensure roll-up aligns with long-term vision and goals Seek best practices for sales and marketing models that align with channel trends Ensure collaborative approach with Fresh and Retail teams to ensure strategies, processes, and goals are aligned Ensure brand and company standards are adopted and advanced throughout the business development process Implement technology enablers that align across the business development team Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; Masters or Advanced Degree preferred
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Food Production industry; leadership positions required
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading high functioning and high performing teams
