Holman Enterprises is a diverse automotive services company that is made up of six operating businesses - including automotive dealerships across the country, a leasing and auto retail finance company, an auto parts distributorship, a truck up-fitting business, a full-service insurance brokerage, and the largest privately owned fleet leasing and management company in the world. Manage oversight of the large deductible retrospective insurance program for the organization. * Manage the company's claims for its domestic operations, including: o General liability, o Automotive, o Garage liability, o Dealer open lot inventory o Property o Cyber o Crime o E&O, A&E o D&O, EPL o Fiduciary o Consumer Complaints o Asbestos and coordinate with global operations and local country brokers and carriers for similar claims outside of the United States. * Manage one direct report (Claims Specialist) initially, who will track incoming auto, property, garage, general liability claims on a daily basis and correspond with the local site management, witnesses, adjusters and attorneys as needed within the first 24 hours of notice when feasible.* Work directly with Human Resources, Information Security and Physical Security teams on claims involving Management Liability, Cyber or Crime policies.* Assist the company's defense attorney(s) in preparation of cases. This includes internal investigation of accidents, conducting all related inquiries and preparing material and evidence for the company to use in hearings, law suits, and insurance investigations.* Aggressively managing all claims to resolution, including conducting causal analysis and identifying indicators of potential fraud.* Work directly with the carrier's SIU when necessary.* Coordinate and lead frequent claims review meetings held with Operations, carriers, adjusters, broker, and attorneys.* Analyze loss reports and develop claim summaries as needed to track expenses and evaluate trends.* Establish reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations within established reserve authority levels.* Initiate communication with third parties for damage recovery on property damages against the company. Obtain necessary information and write reports in order to file claims with insurance carriers and claims departments.* Assist in selection of Field Investigators, Cause and Origin experts, Accident Reconstructionist, and doctors for Independent Medical Evaluations.* Monitor all open cases for any change in status.* Oversee notices of qualifying claims to excess carriers* Conduct incident response, investigation, and reporting training for all levels of management within the organization.* Provide direction and support for short and long term loss prevention goals for multiple Operations, as well as identifying and addressing continuous improvement opportunities.* Collaborate with Underwriting during renewal periods for all non-WC lines of coverage.* Work with the Risk & Safety Manager and Security Department as necessary to support loss prevention programs and initiatives.* Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
