Responsible for driving the overall strategic and tactical product management for HCP and consumer initiatives.QualificationsUnder the guidance of Marketing Leadership (Associate Director, Director or Senior Director) has primary responsibility for developing and execution of HCP strategies and tactics including participation in the strategic and marketing planning process for the assigned brand. Annual plan development is based on effective market definition/segmentation, an understanding of relevant customer needs, a thorough analysis of market data, and identification of critical market trends and opportunities. Under the direction of their manager, develops and executes HCP and Consumer strategies and tactics. Gains management approval by presenting detailed tactical plans prior to implementation of programs. Leads all aspects of tactical implementation, including timelines, creation of promotional materials, and training of internal stakeholders and field based professionals (National Account Managers, Sales Representatives and Medical Science Liaisons). Ensures compliance and legal are aligned and manages the ongoing compliance needs associated with all tactics.Assumes overall brand budget accountability. Works with finance and Marketing Director to monitor spending against budget/forecast on a monthly basis. Reports budget results as requested by department management. Works with internal stakeholders to develop projections for both production and sales forecasts. Processes invoices and SOWs for the entire brand budget.Under the guidance of their manager, evaluates effectiveness of strategies and tactics, including development of program success metrics, evaluation criteria, feedback mechanisms and return-on-investment analysis.Interacts with key internal stakeholders to ensure strategies and tactics are linked to achievement of critical business objectives. Key internal stakeholders include Medical Affairs, R & D, Finance, Worldwide Commercial Development, Regulatory, Sales, Corporate Accounts, Sales Training, Market Access, Managed Care and Manufacturing. Ensures that field-based professionals (National Account Managers, Sales Representatives and Medical Science Liaisons) are aligned with brand strategies.Assists in the development of selection criteria for external agency partners; develops and manages effective agency relationships. Selects vendors for brand programs and projects. Builds effective working relationships with key external customers, including thought leaders and patient advocacy groups.Participates as an active member of the Therapeutic Area Marketing Team, which is functionally responsible for the overall management and direction of the entire franchise including new pipeline products.Develops relationships with key external customers (to include Health Care Providers, Channel Partners, and Patient Groups) in order to maintain a thorough understanding of current market conditions. Effectively manages changes in market conditions related to brand strategy and tactics while communicating potential market impact to Sr. Management.Attend and manage HCP and Patient conferences.Qualifications:Education: BS/BA, MBA preferredExperience: Minimum 5 years relevant healthcare experience (can include biologics, medical device or pharmaceuticals) in sales, marketing or related experience that should include 2-4 years product management experience.
