Engineer Job Description We are seeking talented Project Engineers
to join our team for a significant construction endeavor known as
the Lilly Lebanon LEAP Project. You will be working on a small
molecule building within a larger complex dedicated to the research
and development of molecular therapies. This facility will play a
vital role in converting molecules into tools to combat diseases.
With an impressive scope originally valued at $290 million and an
additional $200 million recently acquired, this project is set for
completion by 2027. Responsibilities Communicate with contractors,
subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth
operations. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and propose
solutions to mitigate delays. Maintain project documentation,
including reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records. Ensure
adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company
policies. Assist in change order management, cost control, and
financial tracking. Participate in site inspections and provide
updates on construction activities. Support the Senior Project
Manager in project closeout activities, including final inspections
and documentation. Essential Skills 2-4 years of experience in
construction project management, assistant project management,
Project Engineer, or a similar role. Proficiency in Mechanical or
Piping and P&ID Drawings. Strong knowledge of construction
processes, contracts, and regulations. Excellent communication,
leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a
fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience
with construction management software, RFI processes, change
orders, and project management. Additional Skills & Qualifications
CAD experience and estimation skills are advantageous. 1 year of
Co-op experience is preferred over internships. 1 year of on-site
job experience is ideal. Work Environment The position currently
operates five days a week but will soon expand to six days a week,
with work hours ranging from 58 to 60 hours per week. This
opportunity offers guaranteed overtime and the chance to work on
one of Indiana's most prestigious and largest projects.
Additionally, there is potential for permanent hire by one of
Indiana's top general contractors, with a 12-month contract-to-hire
option available for the right candidates. Job Type & Location This
is a Contract position based out of Lebanon, IN. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
