Job Description:
Constellation, a forward-thinking energy company serving a
multitude of clients across the U.S., is seeking a proficient
Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on
developing, designing, and enhancing mechanical systems that are
critical to the operational success of our power generation and
energy management solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust
understanding of mechanical processes in relation to energy
production and a commitment to sustainable and efficient design
practices. Design, analyze, and enhance mechanical components and
systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and
operational requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to integrate mechanical designs with electrical systems and process
infrastructures. Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts
to address operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime and
adherence to safety protocols. Develop technical documentation,
including system designs, specifications, and operating manuals,
ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Conduct and oversee testing procedures to validate and improve
system performance and safety. Support project management
activities, from conceptual design through to implementation,
including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting. Strong
proficiency in mechanical design software, such as AutoCAD or
SolidWorks. In-depth understanding of thermodynamics, fluid
dynamics, and material science. Ability to work collaboratively in
a team environment and communicate effectively with different
departments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a
meticulous attention to detail. Experience with compliance and
safety standards specific to the energy sector. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE)
license is preferred. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other
related quality and process improvement methodologies is
advantageous.
