Job Description:
Constellation, a leader in delivering energy solutions across
the U.S., is seeking a dedicated Civil/Structural Engineer to join
our dynamic Engineering team. This role will focus on designing,
planning, and overseeing structural engineering projects within the
gas, oil, and electric sectors. This position offers the
opportunity to contribute to the infrastructure that powers homes,
businesses, and public sectors with efficient and sustainable
energy solutions. Design and analyze structural components of
energy facilities, including gas pipelines, oil processing plants,
and electric substations. Ensure compliance with all applicable
regulations, codes, and industry standards in project designs and
implementations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
integrate structural designs with electrical and mechanical
systems. Prepare technical documentation, including design
specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines. Manage the
testing and maintenance schedules for existing structures to ensure
longevity and safety. Conduct risk assessments and provide
solutions to mitigate structural failures. Lead and mentor junior
engineers and support staff in project design and implementation.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other structural engineering
software. Strong understanding of structural analysis and design
principles related to the energy sector. Excellent problem-solving
and analytical skills. Effective communication and project
management abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license
preferred. Certification from the American Society of Civil
Engineers (ASCE) is a plus.
