Job Description:

At H&K Group, Inc., we are seeking a diligent Secondary Plant Operator to join our dedicated team in the maintenance and operation of our construction material facilities. This role involves the operation and oversight of secondary machinery used in the production of aggregates, asphalt, and concrete products. Our focus is on sustainability, efficiency, and safety, supporting our mission to deliver top-quality construction services and materials across the Mid-Atlantic region. Operate and manage secondary plant machinery specific to crushing, grinding, and other aggregate processing operations. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance to ensure the continuous functionality and optimal performance of plant equipment. Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and solve operational issues. Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and quality control metrics. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Support initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact and enhancing sustainability within the plant operations. Assist in training junior operators and other plant personnel as required. Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and various plant control systems. Strong mechanical aptitude with abilities in routine maintenance and minor repairs of industrial equipment. Capability to follow complex instructions and engineering blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Medical Insurance 401k Certification in heavy equipment operation or maintenance is a plus. OSHA Safety training certification is highly regarded.
