Job Description Job Description Description: Responsible for
executing assignments within Lewis’ Industrial Maintenance Program
as requested by the Director of Operations, Vice President and
Chief Operating Officer. Duties and Responsibilities will include
but are not limited to: field execution, scheduling, logistics,
Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QA/QC), field leadership,
training program implementation and the overall responsible for the
safe execution and efficiency of the service line. Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities: Perform pre-job/bid site walks with
project managers, estimators, or sales representatives within the
program as necessary to ensure projects are bid and managed
efficiently. Evaluation of Lewis’ field staff specific to
industrial maintenance crew leads; this evaluation will determine
the continued development of Lewis industrial maintenance team
leaders. Scheduling and planning of specific industrial maintenance
project related work. Review of all industrial maintenance tools
and equipment to ensure field staff has the correct resources in
place for project execution. Oversight, evaluation and delegation
of field tasks to crew leads and field technicians. Review work
plans and equipment requirements to ensure efficient start and
completion of projects. Quality control and quality assurance
responsibilities to ensure projects are conducted in an efficient
and safe manner. Maximize the utilization of Lewis owned resources
and equipment when applicable. Ensure proper use and maintenance of
all assigned equipment. Safeguard confidential, sensitive or
privileged information. Enforcement of the standards of conduct as
defined in the company handbook. Assist in performing secondary
responsibilities as requested by management. Conduct daily and
weekly meetings with the staff to ensure key communication is
conveyed. Review and evaluate lower tier field staff. Commitment to
general teamwork in support of all aspects of daily activities to
ensure the profitability and sustained growth of the corporation.
Qualifications: Five to ten (5-10) years’ experience working within
the industrial cleaning industry, in a leadership position. Clean
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Criminal Background. Valid Driver’s
License. Must have flexibility in their personal schedule
including, nightshift, weekend and 24 hour on call status. Strong
focus on Safety, Quality, Accountability, Integrity, and Teamwork.
40 Hours OSHA and related Safety Training is a plus. Specific
Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word in
addition to various programs related to plotting travel routes.
Must have ability to effectively and professionally communicate to
customer representatives for: Conflict resolution, Scheduling of
work, Site conditions Demonstrates the ability to effectively
manage the operational performance of crew members. Must have the
ability to work with Operations for scheduling of resources in
addition to the planning and resource management as it pertains to
the yearly program work. Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude as it
relates to Operation and Maintenance of the Program-specific
equipment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability
to work in severe weather conditions both hot and cold Ability to
work out of town Ability to work in confined spaces Work and travel
in inclement weather Ability to stand and exert physical effort
performing manual labor 50-70% of the time Able to tolerate
exposure to moderate noise levels This position offers competitive
