If a position is listed with both office locations and virtual offerings, Comcast may be willing to consider candidates who live greater than 100 miles from the office for the remote option.)Job SummaryJob DescriptionDUTIES: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Contribute to teams responsible for full stack design and development of new software and web applications using Node.js, Python, ReactJS and its frameworks, including MaterialUI and AntdesignUI, and Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban; develop all stack layers from front-end UI to databases and model layers; develop web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX; work with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle; build and consume RESTful APIs; test and debug web applications; manage version control with Git; work with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; implement security best practices; work with DevOps tools including Docker and Kubernetes; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible for 40% remote work.REQUIREMENTS: - - - - - - - - - - - - Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software using Node.js, Python, and ReactJS and its frameworks, including MaterialUI and AntDesignUI; of which one (1) year includes performing full stack software development; developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX; working with relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle; building and consuming RESTful APIs; testing and debugging web applications; using Git for version control; working with cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform; and implementing security best practicesDisclaimer:
