Our client, a leading electrical test equipment manufacturer, is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician in their Phoenixville, PA location. You'll provide manufacturing production support by troubleshooting test fixtures and product failure circuits. Additionally, you will extend your expertise to the service center, where you will be involved in troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing test fixtures and product failures. Your attention to detail will also be instrumental in validating the accuracy of product structure BOMs and assembly documentation during prototype subassembly and product assembly builds. Location: Phoenixville, PA (Northwest of Philadelphia)
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00/hr. About the Role:

• Assemble prototype circuit boards and conduct rigorous testing in the lab to assess their performance and durability.
• Analyze board schematics from CAD drawings, conduct circuit testing, and implement necessary modifications.
• Assist in executing product design qualification tests, including EMI/EMC, Safety, Drop, Shock, Temperature, and Water Ingress, either in-house or through external facilities.
• Build and validate functional test fixtures for board and product subassemblies, ensuring accurate testing processes.
• Create and validate manufacturing and service center method sheet documentation to support production and repair activities. Requirements:
  • 4+ of experience as an Engineering Technician with complex electronic products.
  • Specialization in mid to high voltage circuits (4000V and above).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, and troubleshooting various types of circuits including Analog, Digital, Power Supply, and High Voltage.
  • Demonstrated experience handling and testing mid to high voltage circuits, with a strong commitment to adhering to HV safe handling practices.
  • Expertise in using test and measurement equipment for circuit testing and troubleshooting, including Power Supplies, Signal Generators, Multi-Meters, O-Scopes, Data Loggers, and Temp Chambers.
  • Highly skilled in using hand tools for electronic board assembly and repair, such as soldering irons, solder suckers, and heat guns. Why Work with Us?
