  Gannett Fleming continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a talented -Bridge Engineer to support our team in our Marlton, NJ or Philadelphia, PA office. We rely on our bridge engineers to perform design activities on various projects and to deliver high quality results for our clients. -
  
  In this role, you will have the chance to work on exciting and engaging large-scale and small-scale infrastructure projects and utilize your bridge design expertise to work on several interesting and challenging transportation related projects. The candidate will perform bridge calculations, designs, modeling, plan preparation and specifications. You'll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with our clients. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.
  
  This role requires excellent communication skills, effective time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills. - A successful candidate will be articulate with a professional presence and solid decision-making, planning and organizational skills. -
  As a bridge engineer, you will become an integral part of our team and our company.
  
  -Responsibilities
  
  • 
    
  • Perform structural design and analysis and check bridge geometry.
    
  • Develop structure plans for other transportation structures such as culverts, retaining walls, utility vaults, noise abatement walls, pedestrian bridges, sign structures, etc.
    
  • Participate in the development of construction contract documents, such as specifications, cost estimates and review construction documents such as shop and working drawings.
    
  • Coordinate work activities and provide guidance to supporting staff.
    
    
    Minimum Qualifications
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures.
      
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
      
    • 5-10 years' experience in bridge design and/or detailing.
      
    • Understanding of standard engineering practices, techniques, and applicable codes.
      
    • Candidate should be well versed in the use of the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
      
    • Experience in Bentley OpenBridge Designer (LEAPSteel), CSiBridge, AASHTOWare BrR preferred.
      
    • Working knowledge of plan development with CADD required (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD).
      
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word programs for business applications.
      
    • Ability to work in a team environment, self-starter, demonstrated organization skills, team player, and commitment to continuous improvement.
      
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
