Job Description:

Summary:
Represents Quality function to integrate Quality Management System requirements; provides Quality interpretation of requirements; ensures adherence to company and regulatory requirements; participates in various reviews to assure quality attributes are incorporated into product requirements; performs system, process and product audits of the QMS. Provide oversight and assistance to the Organization with the main focus on Operations, Engineering and Procurement in addressing improvement activities. Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions; interfaces with departments to support corrective actions. If needed, facilitates root cause and corrective actions and recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
Responsibilities:
Performs a systematic, independent and documented process for obtaining Audit evidence and evaluates it objectively to determine the extent to which the Audit criteria are fulfilled
Additional duties may include:

• The development and the maintenance of QMS procedures
• The development of performance metrics and trend analysis
• Quality Assurance Plans
• Or other responsibilities as assigned related to the Company mission, values, goals and quality policy. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree Required, preferred field Aerospace/Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Aerospace Quality experience, or experience that would permit performance of essential duties and responsibilities. QUALITY:
    • Has a fundamental understanding of a quality system and its development, documentation and implementation to domestic and international standards or requirements. PRODUCT AND PROCESS CONTROL:
      • Understands the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control QUANTITATIVE METHODS AND TOOLS
        • Uses statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices
        • Familiar with quality cost concepts and measures
        • Has a basic understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results and follow-up. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
          • Has a thorough understanding of problem-solving and quality improvement tools and techniques.
          • Can develop and implement quality programs, including tracking, analyzing, reporting and problem solving.
          • Can identify, describe, and apply elements of the corrective action process including problem identification, failure analysis, root cause analysis, problem correction, recurrence control, verification of effectiveness Training/Certs:
            • AS9100 Certification
            • CQE/CQA preferred
            • FAA Part 21 Certification preferred
