Some roles can work virtual full-time if they are not near a Tech Hub, but that is dependent upon the needs of the position and amount of collaboration required.
Job Summary Responsible for the overall performance of financial operations by achieving operational compliance, adherence to budgets and reinforcing strategic The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. Reliability Experience and Global Product Operations, led by James Manchester, SVP and Chief Reliability Officer, is responsible for developing and leading the programs that allow us to deliver on our dedication to providing the best, most reliable network, product, and service experiences, as well as a consistent standard of excellence, across our customer base, inclusive of those from Sky and our syndication partners! This group also partners closely with Xfinity Growth, Innovation, and Experience (XGIE), our residential consumer business unit, and the field to develop solutions that allow us to grow market share in unique channels, including multi-dwelling units, retail and higher education campus environments.

Job Description Overview of the Role:
Responsible for the overall performance of financial operations by achieving operational compliance, alignment to budgets and reinforcing strategic direction in daily operations. Ensures compliance with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies and procedures. Promotes a customer focused service culture. Acts as a champion through continued focus on proactively identifying and addressing processes impacting engineering. Leads a team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees! Serves as domain expert and provides mentorship to employees as required.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Monitors technical and engineering progress to ensure strategies, goals and objectives are met. Communicates changes to all affected personnel.
Ensures effective process of the department budget. Prepares financial statements and monthly forecasts and reports them to management.
Prepares and analyzes monthly financial performance and makes recommendations.
Supervises capital and operating expenditures and makes recommendations as vital.
Manages and forecasts resource needs to meet departmental objectives. Recommends action plans or solutions to management.
Ensures that all regional technical performance stays in sync with industry and Company technical requirements.
Applies industry standards in daily operations and ensures that they are consistently met and that technical operations stay in sync with system, region and OSHA safety programs.
Develops, trains, mentors and motivates staff members in accordance with standard methodologies and procedures developed by management.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as vital.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Responsible for a team of engineers that support our End to End Firmware/Platform Video Experience
Leverage Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus, and internally created tooling
Analyze application logs
Drive bridge calls across multiple fix agents
Clearly communicate to Senior Leaders, external stakeholders, and divisions
