Job Description:
The Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will work
autonomously and report into the Dev Manager, IT. This position is
accountable for:Reviewing quality specifications and technical
design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackCreating
detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test
casesEstimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality
testing activitiesTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Review requirements,
specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and
meaningful feedbackCreate detailed, comprehensive and
well-structured test plans and test casesEstimate, prioritize, plan
and coordinate testing activitiesDesign, develop and execute
automation scripts using open source toolsIdentify, record,
document thoroughly and track bugsPerform thorough regression
testing when bugs are resolvedDevelop and apply testing processes
for new and existing products to meet client needsLiaise with
internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify
system requirementsMonitor debugging process resultsInvestigate the
causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement
solutionsTrack quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and
open defect countsStay up to date with new testing tools and test
strategiesSKILLS-EXPERIENCE:Fluent in object-oriented programming
with minimum 3 years of use of OO languages (C#) for development or
QA purposesExperience testing complex, multi-threaded, and
multi-component productsExperience with API testing or
integrationMinimum 5 years of experience in a QA roleStrong working
knowledge of SQL and Relational DatabasesDebugging and Crash Log
Analysis/ReviewExperience with automated load/stress and
performance testing and toolsStrong ability to work in fast-paced
environment and ability to multitask with ease is essential to the
success of this positionStrong verbal and written communication
skillsComfortable building and maintaining test systems from
scratchInnovative, analytical approach to solving complex test
problems and performing troubleshootingTrack record of leading
complex test projects in a hands-on way and mentoring others in
test automation design and implementationCapable of understanding
and documenting incidents. Effectively manage incident information
and test status information to improve product and processExcellent
knowledge of QA methodology and Software development processes
(Agile Scrum, )Extensive experience with various types of testing
including unit, system, integration, user acceptance, regression,
usability and end-to-end testingKnowledge of basic Windows system
administration and tools
