STEQ America markets, sells and installs high quality equipment-based solutions and delivers

technical sales and support for European developed manufacturing and laboratory equipment to

pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutraceutical markets throughout North America.

STEQ are passionately focused on developing its solution-based sales relationships by generating

brand and product awareness to expand our business as one of the leaders in this field.

STEQ is seeking a well-motivated and enthusiastic project engineer. This position requires solid

attention to detail and accomplished technical competence. The individual is responsible for

project management support, technical collaboration, installation coordination/supervision, fault

finding and troubleshooting, operator training and maintenance actions.

The intention of this critical role is to promote project management supervision, service support

and installation tasks toward client satisfaction, delivering customer satisfaction, maintaining long-

term relationships and trust, and delivering on time projects and within projected profitability.

This exciting full-time position will be vital towards developing STEQs brand and that of our

European partners.

Requirements

Primary responsibilities:

  • Project management supervision and coordination from point of purchase order to site validation and operator handover.
  • Customer support and maintenance during field visits and installations
  • Supervision with capital equipment factory acceptance tests (FATs)
  • Lead for site management, installation synchronization, commissioning, and training on equipment.
  • Diagnose technical errors and determine solutions, working with our manufacturing partners.
  • Draft competent technical documents and reports
  • Ability to work on customer sites with limited supervision, as necessary
  • Operate in a safe manner, following companys health and safety procedures
  • Preparing customer service, maintenance, and spares parts proposals
  • Build positive relationships with customers Create meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Understand and demonstrate the product or service(s) to the customers
  • Using SalesForce to develop and maintain customer assets, critical contacts, leads and fault tracking

      Requirements
      • Ideally, some project management experience
      • Excellent communicator, problem solver and creative thinker
      • Proficiency with understanding capital equipment sales in the pharma industry
      • Passion and desire to succeed
      • Bonus proficiencies (but not essential) knowledge of 3D modelling
      • Limited travel is expected, typically one (1) per month, largely during the week days
