Suburban Propane, a leader in propane and refined fuel services, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Operations Manager to enhance our energy services delivery. The role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations across our various sites, focusing on streamlining processes, enhancing safety, and driving operational excellence, all while prioritizing environmental sustainability and compliance with industry regulations. Oversee daily operations of multiple service sites ensuring effective management and safety compliance Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and profitability Implement strategic operational changes to improve processes and technologies, reducing costs and enhancing service quality Maintain compliance with all government and industry regulations, including environmental, safety, and health directives Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as HR, finance, and logistics, to ensure operations align with broader corporate objectives Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency Conduct performance evaluations, mentor staff members, and facilitate professional development and training Proven ability to manage logistics and supply chain processes Strong proficiency in industry-specific software Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills In-depth knowledge of energy sector regulations and compliance requirements Ability to analyze data and improve operational efficiency Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar credentials beneficial
