Job Description Job Description Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1 years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the 2026 spring semester in the Baltimore area, MD, serving two elementary schools with a focus on PreK through 5th grade students. This on-site role requires an active Maryland Professional License and compliance with House Bill 486, including a district background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review. Location & Schedule: Magnolia Elementary: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) Prospect Mill Elementary: 2 days per week (Monday, Wednesday) Total: 37.5 hours per week Contract dates: February 16, 2026 May 29, 2026, with potential extension through ESY (4 weeks in July 2026) Responsibilities: Assist with speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists Support students in PreK5th grade with communication disorders Collaborate with school staff and families to implement treatment plans Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and procedures Qualifications: Active Maryland Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant Ability to complete required district background checks and credentialing requirements Prior experience working with elementary school populations is preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Benefits and Perks: Opportunity to work with diverse student populations Competitive pay aligned with experience Experience in a supportive school-based therapy environment Possibility for contract extension through summer ESY program Candidates interested in this travel-based school opportunity are encouraged to prepare for a prescreen interview, which can be scheduled flexibly between 9-11 AM and 2-3 PM EST.
