This opportunity seeks two dedicated paraprofessionals to support students with severe needs in K-12 educational settings, focusing on high-intensity behaviors. Positions are available with an emphasis on either high school or elementary caseloads, offering a full-time contract through the current school year. Locations: - Primary assignment at a high school setting in Levittown, PA. - Alternative placement at an elementary school in Levittown, PA, if the high school role fills. Schedule: - High School Caseload: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM (37.5 hours/week) - Elementary Caseload: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (37.5 hours/week) - Mandatory orientation held every other week, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Assignment Duration: - Tentative dates from late February to mid-June 2026, aligned with the school calendar Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct support to students with severe behavioral and special education needs across various classrooms - Assist in creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment - Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized learning plans Preferred Qualifications: - Minimum of one year experience as a paraprofessional in a special education setting serving severe needs students - Residency within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA - Ability to work full-time hours within the specified schedule, including mandatory orientation attendance - Meet at least one Pennsylvania paraprofessional qualification: Two years post-secondary education (48 college credits) Associate degree or higher Credential of Competency or Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate - Alternatively, completion of the seven-module PA paraprofessional certification within 60 days of hire Additional Requirements: - Completion of all required Pennsylvania Department of Education clearances within three weeks of hire and submission one week prior to start date for HR approval - Successful completion of reference checks and recruiter vetting process before final hiring approval This role offers meaningful engagement impacting students educational progress and well-being in a structured K-12 environment.
