An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support elementary students requiring specialized instruction tailored to their unique learning needs. This role involves working within a collaborative educational environment to promote inclusive learning and individual growth. Location: - Broomall, PA (Delaware County IU 25 area) - Work sites include Marple Education Center (Broomall), Aston Early Childhood Education Center (Aston), and Folcroft Campus (Folcroft) Position Details: - Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - Contracted for the current school year (CSY) - Caseload includes three classroom assignments focused on early childhood special education Key Responsibilities: - Deliver individualized educational programs aligned with students' IEP goals - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective learning strategies - Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods as needed - Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment promoting social and academic development - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards Desired Qualifications: - Appropriate certification in Special Education - Experience working with early childhood populations preferred - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet varied learner needs - Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in early childhood special education settings across multiple campuses.
