Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education teaching opportunity is available
for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Bucks County,
Pennsylvania. This contract position supports K-12 students with
special needs during the summer months. Position Details: -
Duration: June 23, 2026 July 31, 2026 - Schedule: Part-time,
MondayThursday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM (26 hours per week) - Location:
Itinerant countywide assignments within Bucks County IU 22 -
Possible School Assignments: Cecelia Snyder Middle School, Strayer
Middle School, Everitt School, Pearl Buck Elementary School, and
Fallsington Elementary School (pending district approval)
Qualifications and Requirements: - Current Pennsylvania Special
Education certification required - Applicants with an Emergency
Permit must be actively enrolled in a certification program - Proof
of active licensure or emergency permit with program enrollment
must be provided prior to consideration - Candidates must be
willing to work itinerantly across multiple designated schools -
Experience working with K-12 special education students preferred
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized instruction designed to
meet the individual needs of students with disabilities -
Collaborate with school staff and families to support student
progress during ESY - Implement individualized education plans
(IEPs) in alignment with district standards - Maintain clear
documentation and communicate effectively within assigned schools
