Job Description:
Widener University is currently seeking applications for a 10-month
faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical
Psychology - Tenure Track in the College of Health and Human
Services, to start in the Fall of 2024. This position is a core
faculty position in our graduate level Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
program.
We are a generalist clinical program and our faculty represents a
diverse array of theoretical orientations. We will consider
applications from candidates representing any theoretical
orientations, but strongly encourage applicants with expertise in
cognitive behavioral and associated third wave modalities to apply.
We encourage applications from individuals who can teach core
foundational courses in a generalist clinical psychology curriculum
(e.g., assessment, intervention, history and systems, ethics,
diversity and multicultural theory). All candidates should be
prepared to demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of diversity,
equity, inclusion, and belonging, as well as how this understanding
is woven into their work.
