CreditsMinimum of two years classroom experience in ECE preferredSalary$17.50-$21.00 HourlyJOB DESCRIPTIONEnsure safety and well-being of all children in your classroomAdhere to all state regulationsWrite weekly lesson plans and submit to DirectorTeach the weekly/ bi-weekly/ monthly theme utilizing the Lesson Plan and following the daily scheduleOversee any assistants or aides in the classroomObserve and evaluate the children, keeping detailed records and work samplingParticipate in staff meetings and special events held at your assigned location Complete daily attendance and meal sheets, turning over to Director each FridayParticipate in trainings and continuing education classes, ensuring you are taking the required amount of yearly training hours and topicsInteract with parents, addressing concerns and providing supportAdhere to all policies for facilityPerform daily health checks of children, reporting to Director any concerns, including those of child abuse or neglectWrite incident reports when a child is hurt, submit to Director for review before distributingParticipate in Emergency Preparedness and Fire DrillsAttend to the physical needs of the childrenBe flexible regarding your classroom assignment and scheduleKeep your classroom clean, clutter free, materials sanitizedActively participate in all field trips
