tenure track faculty position. The position requires effective
teaching in areas of content expertise within a highly integrated
and collaborative entry-level DPT program (hybrid and residential).
Service to the department and university as well as professional
service is expected. Scholarly activity with a focused research
agenda is also expected. Responsibilities: Essential Functions
Works closely with Program Directors (Hybrid and Residential) to
develop effective teaching encompassing three primary domains of
cognitive, psychomotor, and affective skills. Student advising
Scholarly activity within a focused area Service to the department,
university, and profession Marginal Functions: Alumni activity
engagement Represent the department to external bodies Provide and
attend continuing education Participate in experiential/pro bono
learning experiences Required Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
Academic doctorate (PhD or equivalent) Content and practice
expertise in either musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and pulmonary,
or acute care rehabilitation Physical therapist licensed in PA or
eligible for license in PA Demonstrated record or clear potential
for scholarship Supervision: Received: Department Chair and Program
Directors Given: Department staff and student workers
Qualifications: Academic doctorate (PhD or equivalent) Experience
teaching or mentoring students in academic or clinical settings
Willingness to embrace new technologies consistent with hybrid
education Clinical experience in area of content expertise Other
Requirements: (e.g., certificates, license required) Physical
therapist licensed in PA or eligible for license in PA Applications
