Job DescriptionTitle of Role: Pitching Instructor Full-Time/Part-Time: [Full-Time and Part-Time]Manager: Facility Manager SummaryAll-Star Sports Academy is the Greater Philadelphia areas premier organization for developing young athletes through mentorship, instruction, and competition. Since 1998, our organization evolved from one to six facilities and is a national leader for baseball and softball training with a focus on mentoring young players and emphasizing the benefits of hard work, commitment, and excellent training routines. Our Future Starz Tournament Series, a division of ASSA, is the nations premier provider of guaranteed college exposure events, operating college exposure and non-college exposure tournaments and camps throughout the East Coast. Duties and responsibilitiesPerform private lessons Lead program and team training operationsCoach teamsAssist in facility cleanliness and maintenanceAssist in facility set-up, including: programs, camps, clinics, team practices and lessons based on baseball and softball operations needsAssist in program development, team development and curriculum for practices, especially associated with teams coachedAssist in business development, including: phone calls, coaches clinicsAssist in office operations, front desk duties, customer service, and general care of clientelePerform daily lessons, camps, programs, and clinics while maintaining ASBA high standard of excellence and professionalismOffer developmental tips and providing recommendations to prospects and clients of ASBA to promote progress and growth of each individual associatedOther duties as assignedQualification RequirementsHigh school diploma required Softball pitching experience requiredCoaching, teaching, or instructing experience preferred Strong work ethic Excellent communication skills Positive, energetic attitude Customer-oriented Ability to work evenings and weekendsThe Company is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer, all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.Powered by JazzHRG7S3Rvuinm
