Confidential Wholesale Apparel Company has a great opportunity for a Print and Graphic Designer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: -Create, edit/manipulate, setup/tech, and send to factory/mill for development:Seasonal prints, stripes, and plaids for multiple brandsLogos, tags, and labels pertaining to the brand's packagingArtwork for graphic teesUnderstand and manage print restrictions such as repeat sizes, color limitations, and costing challengesWork closely with the Design Director to establish the overall seasonal print direction for each brandCollaborate with Designers on print development by classificationsAssist in prepping for internal meetings and market appointmentsIs an expert resource on graphic and print product aesthetic and techniques/processesConstantly research and present aspirational and competitive markettrends and new techniques in prints and graphicsAdjust to changing business needsAdhere to time & action calendarPartner with the Legal Department to ensure that graphics/designs do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of othersDevelop and manage a reference library to allow prompt and easy access for all product groupsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
