Job Description:
Duties: Perform marketing analytics, including marketing/media
mix modeling, predictive analytics and market forecasting. Develop
time series models to address the short-term effects of marketing and the
long-term impact on brand and competitive position. Perform practical
analytics to generate actionable market insights to assist clients in
identifying better marketing decisions. Estimate market impact and efficiency,
return on investment (ROI), marginal return on investment (MROI), brand
equity, profit and market share. Confirm accuracy and appropriateness of
estimates, communicate insights and respond to team-based feedback with
refinements on the generated insights. Develop, implement, document, and
support scoring models and segmentation solutions. Deliver client specific
analyses including campaign effectiveness analysis, customer segmentation
and profiling, retention analysis, lifetime value analysis, and
competitive market research related to input and development of decision
modeling. Apply SAS and other statistical techniques to various analytical
projects, both internal and external. Leverage internal analytical and
data assets to develop new solutions for customer acquisition and retention,
and refine and develop standard databases. Education/Experience Requirements: Master’s degree in
Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Marketing Analytics, or related
quantitative field and two (2) years’ experience using SAS to conduct
segmentation, profiling and statistical analysis for marketing analytics, or in the
alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Econometrics,
Marketing Analytics, or related quantitative field and five (5) years of
experience as indicated above. Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): utilizing SAS to
import and manipulate data, and develop, estimate and build models;
applying mathematical and statistical techniques to provide analytics,
segmentation and scoring solutions for clients; marketing analytics,
including marketing/media mix modeling, predictive analytics and market
forecasting; performing quantitative analysis, statistics, mathematical
analysis, data manipulation, and business analysis; applying regression
techniques using panel data and time-series data; utilizing statistical software
including R, Python and SQL; interacting with client marketing, business
and/or data science professionals to gather requirements, develop analytic
objectives, and project scope.
