Job Description:

Lead and execute process and technology initiatives for our Customer

Service department. Analyze data collected from variety of systems to

maintain procedural controls and compliance. Identify opportunities, such

as reducing process variation and aligning inputs with desired outputs, to

improve results on key performance indicators. Work closely with the

Director of Process Engineering and Integration to design and implement

creative solutions, institute consistency around implementation approach,

and drive success-based metrics for assigned project initiatives. Utilize

Six Sigma sub-methodologies DMAIC and DMADV to evaluate the quality of

relevant operational procedures. Manage contractors and consultant

organizations supporting the delivery assigned projects. Deliver

presentations to senior managers and executives.

Requirements: Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information

technology, business administration or related field (willing to accept

foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience performing

validation and analytical analysis for voice and cable systems. Or,

alternatively, a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience as noted

above. Specific skills/other requirements – must have 1 year of experience

in each of the following: (1) Validating Voice and Data releases, and

planning and scheduling upgrades; (2) Analyzing issues with network and

voice systems, to measure significance and determine resolution, including

root cause analysis, measuring variance, and creating a collection plan;

(3) Developing PERL-based shell applications to support firmware

deployments and ensure accurate results in production environment; (4)

Analyzing Network Ops and Voice Services customer premises equipment, to

assess technical issues and recommend ongoing improvements; (5) Developing

project plans including analyzing Financial statements and metrics,

Operations metrics and KPIs, and company Value Chain; (6) Performing

quality assurance testing for voice and data firmware solutions, and

providing feedback to engineering teams for problem resolution; and, (7)

Planning new releases, including creating timelines, defining project scope

and ensuring timely delivery.
