Corporate Accounting and Finance (CAF) is recruiting for an AVP, Global Expense Reporting and Analytics, reporting to the VP, Global Expense Reporting and Analytics. The AVP, Global Expense Analytics and Reporting is responsible for driving and delivering milestones for global expense related projects including, but not limited to those within the Global Expense Analysis and Reporting (GEAR) program (e.g.,) including Global Expense Category Governance, Consolidated Human Resource/Finance Analysis and Reporting, and Global Allocations. This role is an integral driver of finance business process transformation initiatives aligned with the senior finance leadership's vision and strategy (e.g., simplicity, consistency, transparency, and technology enablement). It has responsibility for establishing consistent data and processes to produce accurate and timely consolidated analytics and reports for global expenses. Additional objectives include increasing efficiency, eliminating redundancies, and ensuring compliance with new and existing process controls and standards. The successful candidate will have significant interaction with senior finance leadership and actively engage with, coordinate, and lead project and finance teams. They will partner with colleagues within corporate, region, and country accounting and finance functions, operations, and technology teams as required, to define requirements, solutions, and future state global expense analytics and report capabilities. They will interact with external partners and consultants as appropriate. Requires a professional who can effectively communicate with senior and executive level stakeholders. - Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent process improvement facilitation, data analysis, organizational change management, project management, and presentation skills and the ability to adapt to a broad array of functional areas. Responsibilities include global, regional, country and business unit levels. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Finance Business Process Transformation

  • Work closely with the Global Expense Reporting and Analytics Process Owner, and Lead, to develop and support consistent and sustainable data consolidation, analytics, and reports for global expenses. Contribute to global and corporate initiatives (i.e., finance, finance integration with non-finance projects) as required.
    • Lead and manage the transformation of global finance processes, identify opportunities for improvement, create and implement optimal solutions to reduce or eliminate pain points, process obstacles, and transition of the process to functional owners or stakeholders, when appropriate.
    • Lead and facilitate process improvement work sessions with cross-functional working teams and subject matter experts to understand current processes, identify root causes to inefficiencies, and create future state solutions with clear communication, and deep focus on representation of finance stakeholder requirements, capability delivery and on-going support.
    • Create documentation of global expense category artifacts, including, roadmaps and process flows, driving consistency and alignment
    • Partner with a variety of internal stakeholders to maximize the use of our finance analytics tools and provide key insights to drive the decision-making process.
    • Measure and monitor implemented changes and recommend on-going enhancements to the end-to-end business process, financial data flow, data quality, and governance as required to ensure a sustained process improvement and capability. Project Management
      • Support the Global Expense Analysis and Reporting Process Owner and Lead, to define, plan and execute operational work efforts and projects.
      • Support the development and maintenance of key project elements including, scope definition, elicitation and documentation of business processes and requirements, tracking success criteria (e.g., KPIs), roadmap for continuous improvement and sustainability.
      • Assess and anticipate risks associated with projects and work streams, recommend effective mitigation activities, execute organizational change management strategy as required. Communicate to project owner/lead
      • Participate in project retrospectives to elicit lessons learned from key stakeholders and document best practices Leadership
        • Effectively manage change by influencing and communicating with finance stakeholders, particularly, finance senior leaders, and change targets.
        • Drive cross functional teams to align support and acceptance of shared objectives and work toward the common vision.
        • Prepare presentations and clearly communicate project objectives, deliverables, and benefits, to finance leadership and project working groups.
        • Manage, supervise, and develop the Manager, Global Expense Data Analyst in day-to-day activities, provide strategic direction. Job Requirements:Knowledge (Education and Experience)
          • BS in Accounting, Finance MBA highly desirable
          • 7 - 10 years of comprehensive experience in finance and a strong working knowledge of accounting, financial planning and reporting, and systems (e.g., PeopleSoft Financials, TM1, or similar), including of 3+ years of process transformation and project management experience.
          • Knowledge of global and regional regulations on financial transactions, and/or insurance is a plus
          • Experience delivering large project milestones with significant impact to multiple lines of business, that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications Aptitudes
            • Critical thinker at both the strategic and tactical levels Strong problem solving and innovative skills, and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
            • Ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to align and address dependencies, issues, and risks that impact the project(s)

            • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing stakeholder requirements Skills
              • Working knowledge of project management (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and process improvement disciplines and tools
              • Working knowledge of financial systems (PeopleSoft, TM1, or similar)
              • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Work, and Visio)
              • Storytelling techniques to be able to communicate strategic methods and insights to a range of stakeholders.
