What you'll do:


  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including purchasing office supplies and maintaining office equipment
  • Work alongside marketing and operations to improve overall business streamlining and efficiency
  • Assist in management of HR functions, including managing timesheets, onboarding, and background checks
  • Maintain supply inventory and costs associated by working with office managers and vendors
  • Manage tasks, email communication, and calendars for a geographically distributed management team
  • Prepare, submit, and track expense reports for multiple managers
  • Conserve the CEO and President's time by reading, researching, and drafting documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating communication
  • Draft correspondence and manage communication with outside vendors and suppliers
  • Welcome guests and vendors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answer and direct inquiries as appropriate
  • Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned

    What we're looking for:


    • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience with significant accomplishments inside and outside the classroom;
    • Highly sophisticated communication skills (oral & written): ability to establish contacts and build long term relationships;
    • Persuasive, confident and clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills;
    • Articulate, positive attitude and presentable demeanor with an ability to maintain composure during negotiation and in the face of conflict;
    • Demonstrated ability to interact with senior level professionals, anticipating their needs with initiative, attention to detail, and enthusiasm;
    • Highly proficient in MS Office, including using Outlook to manage multiple calendars and contact lists; Excel to create tables, charts, and graphs; PowerPoint to produce polished presentations;
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, support, and manage projects with superior attention to detail;
    • Sense of humor; mandatory.
