Job Description Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the
planning and the administration of the managerial, operational,
fiscal and reporting components of the Assisted Living Programs.
QUALIFICATIONS: Be at least 21 years of age Possess a high school
diploma or equivalent Hold a Certification as an Assisted Living
Administrator GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Knowledge and
understanding of rules and regulations (standards) for licensure of
Assisted Living Programs. Ensuring the development, implementation,
and enforcement of all policies and procedures, including resident
rights. Ensuring that all personnel are employed and assigned
duties based upon their ability, education, training and competency
to perform the job and in accordance with written job descriptions.
Ensuring the provision of staff orientation and staff education.
Ensuring that personnel files are maintained for each staff member
employed in the program. Administering and supervising non-clinical
operations of the program. Establishing and maintaining liaison
relationships and communication with facility staff and services
and with residents and their families. Develops and implements
procedures for maintaining administrative relationships,
communications, and integration with support services, community
hospitals, social and mental health service agencies and other
community resources. Communicating with staff through meetings,
conferences and other modes of information exchange. Has a full
understanding of fire, emergency and safety procedures. Performs
other responsibilities as may be deemed appropriate by the
Administrative team.
