Job Description Job Description Job Title: Clerical Assistant Location: New York, NY 10029 Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $23–$24/hour (W2) Job Description We are seeking a Clerical Assistant to support daily administrative and office operations in a fast-paced healthcare-related environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients, clinical staff, and visitors throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Perform general clerical duties including filing, data entry, indexing, and record maintenance Provide reception support, including greeting visitors and answering inquiries Schedule meetings and appointments Type and prepare correspondence and reports Operate office equipment such as fax machines, computers, and photocopiers Maintain accurate data entry with a minimum typing speed of 50 keystrokes per minute Liaise with nurses, physicians, and other staff members Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor Interact with patients consistently throughout the workday Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2 years of clerical or administrative experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate level) Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a professional office environment Education High School Diploma or GED required Prior medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred For more details reach at vgill@navitassols.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
