Job Description:

We are an expanding busy small accounting and tax office looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing good client interaction and support to our employees. Assisting in daily office needs and managing our company's general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include answering the phones, scheduling tax appointments, client intake, mail sorting and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office. Responsibilities Answer and direct phone calls Organize and schedule appointments Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Maintain a filing system Update and maintain office policies and procedures Order office supplies Maintain contact lists Provide general support to visitors Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients Skills Experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant. friendly outgoing person. Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary. Experience in tax office a plus.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits: 401(k) Paid time offPhysical setting: OfficeSchedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availabilitySupplemental pay types: Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:All clients are asked to call before entering the building.
