Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:The Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) is looking
for an experienced Financial Manager to join its Trusted Payment
Vendor (TPV) team. The Financial Manager ensures fiscal excellence
of high visibility projects by overseeing the project and managing
a dedicated financial team. The Financial Manager works closely
with the Project Leader to ensure compliance with the project
contracts and communicates with external funding sources. This
position contributes to UAC's overall mission by leading and
supporting seamless fiscal systems, procedures, and

digital systemsKey Duties & Responsibilities:FinanceOversee the
fiscal requirements of key projects from start to finish in an
increasingly agile-oriented work environment;Direct the activities
of accounting, contract administration and other staff on a daily,
quarterly, and annual basis, including goal setting at each
level;Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial
reports, monitoring all reporting to ensure conformity with UAC
policies, procedures, and documentation requirements as established
by regulatory agencies and funders;Monitor the project contracts to
ensure proper budget and operational adherence;Act as the primary
contact with external consultants providing fiscal technical
assistance to the grantees;Oversee grantee billing and account
statements;Interface with Controller to coordinate annual financial
audits and support the annual audit, single audit and other audits
as required;Manage the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) process for
the Fiscal project Staff, (identify, collect, measure, record,
report, and monitor KPI);Work closely with the Project Director and
EVP to review the project success factors;Lead, motivate, and
provide performance management and guidance to project fiscal
staff; Strive for excellent customer service by demonstrating
appropriate and consistent behavior; Establish project priorities
and explore continuing education and developmental opportunities
for staff;Work with Director of Executive Operations to implement
Workfront within the project team:Determine and document quarterly
goals in Workfront;Plan and coordinate resourcing of Accounting
Staff in Workfront; andWork with Director of Executive Operations
to update Fiscal department Dashboards.Education, Knowledge, Skills
& Abilities (Minimum Qualifications):A flexible, innovative, and

analytical and organizational skillsExperience with reviewing and

management skillsEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in
business, accounting or administrative related fieldMBA/CPA or
equivalent experience preferredA minimum of five years of
experience with nonprofit management, including bookkeeping,
financial reporting,
