Strategic Federal Tax Services (SFTS) - R&D/Fixed
Assets/Inventory/Methods Senior Associate POSITION SUMMARY Grant
Thornton's responsive, partner-led Tax service teams help dynamic
companies navigate complexity and grow with insightful, practical
tax advice. - In addition to tax professionals across the United
States, our Washington National Tax Office provides deep technical
knowledge and responsive support in local, state, federal and
international tax. -Our tax services include: compliance, human
capital services, federal tax services, international tax services,
state and local tax services, private wealth services, tax
reporting and advisory, partnership taxation, not-for-profit tax,
and mergers & acquisition tax services. The Strategic Federal Tax
Services (SFTS) Practice at Grant Thornton LLP uses specialized tax
resources to conduct Tax Accounting Method, Fixed Asset, R&D,
Section 199, and Meals and Entertainment consulting services. Our
professionals in this practice area enjoy rewarding careers as tax
specialists, providing tax consulting services to large domestic
and multinational corporations in both a public company and
privately held setting. By properly identifying consulting
opportunities, our tax professionals can help our clients maximize
their cash flow and realize substantial savings to defer revenue
recognition and accelerate applicable tax deductions. The SFTS
R&D/Fixed Assets/Inventory/Methods Senior Associate will be
responsible for collaborating on the design, implementation, and
execution of various consulting services to our existing clients as
well as industry specific up-market tax clients. This will entail
leading, developing and mentoring engagement teams. The SFTS
Practice consists of regional teams directed by a national leader.
