Job Description:
This position is to give financial support for the Finance &
Administration (FA) Enabling Area, with a focus on supporting the
FP&A and CAO organizations within FA.
Work you'll do
This role primarily supports Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) organizations within FA. The
role will manage all financial matters related to their clients,
including periodic close, forecasting, planning and ad hoc
analysis. In addition, this role will support the FA Finance
organization with overall FA reporting, analysis and support. The
role is also responsible for providing business advice and insight
to leaders to drive financial health within FA. Strong
communication and organization skills are essential.
About the Team
The FP&A organization provides specialized finance-related
services in support of the business leaders of the firm. The
Finance Business Partner will support FP&A in meeting the
financial demands and needs of their designated business.
Job Responsibilities:
In providing finance-related services to the FA organization, the
Lead Financial Analyst will support in the following areas:
- Provide support to ensure effective P&L management while
providing transparency of expected performance during the
forecasting and planning processes
- Provide meaningful, actionable insights, advice, and
recommendations on historic and the future financial performance
based on a thorough understanding of financial and operational
results
- Support the businesses on executing their strategic operational
objectives and undertaking ad hoc analyses and special
projects.
- Participate in strategy development and planning, facilitate
the financial planning and forecasting process and develop metrics
to monitor the performance against strategic objectives
- Deliver timely financial analytics and business counsel to
effectively measure business performance against strategic
priorities
- Support an efficient and effective planning and forecasting
process that produces accurate, achievable plans and forecasts that
align with business's strategic objectives
- Identifying areas for improvement, benchmarks, and analysis
around FA spend.
- Working with other Finance team members in providing
value-added services to meet management needs and
expectations.
- Serving as a liaison to the National Finance and Operations
teams to ensure open communications and quick and accurate
responses to leadership requests as needed.
- Work closely with FA leaders to assist in strategies, analysis,
reporting and other ad hoc items
- Providing financial support for other areas as needed,
including ad hoc reporting and financial analysis for Finance &
Administration
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
- Over two years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a
professional services firm
- Extensive experience effectively utilizing financial systems
for operations, financial analysis and data extraction
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in Excel and Financial
applications, along with strong analytical, project management and
organizational skills; knowledge of SAP BPC is a plus
- Working knowledge with PowerPoint and developing
presentations
- Demonstrated experience teaming with a project and / or product
support team
- Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related subject. Advanced
business degree or CPA preferred.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of
factors that are considered in making compensation decisions
including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training;
licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational
needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the
applicable geographic differential associated with the location at
which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical
for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for
their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts
and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the
current range is $ 78,570 - $ 144,695
