Job Description:

Heffler, Radetich & Saitta LLP, is considering candidates for Staff Auditor within its Audit Practice. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the overall planning, administration and execution of assigned attest engagements. Additionally, limited assistance within the firm's tax practice may be required during peak times.Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of audit programs
  • Conduct assigned audit engagements successfully from beginning to end
  • Perform auditing for Not for Profit Organizations, Government Organizations, housing industry and employee plan and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and communicate issues raised, offering recommended solutions relevant technical accounting guidance
  • Prepare reports of audit findings and recommendations management
  • Maintain positive working relationships with management and audit teams
  • Ensure audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances and risk
  • Perform assigned audit activities timely and effectively
  • Perform other related duties as assigned -General Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
    • Ability to apply audit standards through practical application
    • Proactive in researching accounting issues in order to apply as appropriate
    • Solid listening skills and ability to identify gaps in logic--inquisitive
    • Strong organization and follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines
    • Ability to give and follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed wholly toward desired outcome
    • Ability to identify underlying cause of an issue raised
    • Good communication skills
    • Willingness and ability to adapt to new circumstances, information and challenges
    • Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude -Educational Requirements
      • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance
      • CPA designation preferred
      • 0-3 years of audit experienceBenefits
