Wharton External Affairs engages alumni and friends in meaningful,
lifelong relationships with the School, sustaining and

within External Affairs - Operations, Development, Alumni
Relations, and Communications - work collaboratively across the
School and the University to secure philanthropic commitments that

The Administrative Coordinator, Alumni Relations is a member of the
Alumni Relations team, supporting the Executive Director, Alumni
Relations. This role performs a critical role in helping the Alumni
Relations team to engage with Wharton's global alumni
As the coordinator, you will report directly to the Executive
Director, Alumni Relations, and you will work most often with
colleagues on the Alumni Relations, Communications, and Operations
teams. The position tasks and activities will include, but are not
- Provide support for the Executive Director, including calendar
management, travel arrangements, budget management, purchasing
procedures, and project oversight.
- Collaborate as an active member of both the Alumni Relations
team and the coordinator team across External Affairs.
- Provide outstanding customer relations to students, staff,
alumni, board members, and senior executives.
- Participate on the Alumni Relations help desk team on assigned
- Liaise with Communications team, providing writing assistance
and overseeing projects to successful completion.
- Assist with office-wide needs, including front desk coverage,
staffing in-person events, and general administrative duties as
- A High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience or
equivalent combination of education and experience is required;
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, innovative, inquisitive,
detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

a goal-oriented team.
- Strong relational skills, allowing for collegial working
