The Corporate Controller's duties will require planning and directing all accounting operational functions, handling the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluating accounting and internal control systems, and leading departmental staff. Major responsibilities:* Responsible for maintaining and closing general ledger on a monthly basis.* Responsible for maintaining control environment in accordance with established policies.* Responsible for technical review of capital transaction agreements and recording the transactions in accordance with GAAP.* Oversee preparation of internal monthly reporting summarizing financial and operational activity.* Arrange and coordinate quarterly and annual audits by independent accounting firm.* Company liaison to independent auditors during quarterly and annual audits.Job Requirements:The ideal Corporate Controller candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.
