Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year A bit about us: We are a specialty finance fund that provides customized working capital solutions to lower middle-market companies nationwide. We provide senior-secured loans to companies that need additional borrowing flexibility or may not meet a bank---s regulatory requirements for lending. Full benefits PTO 401(k) Job Details Duties and responsibilities: Manage existing loan portfolio of approximately 10-15 deals (depending on complexity) to ensure compliance with the terms of the loan agreement and policies and procedures. Prepare Underwriting Memorandum for changes or modifications of a Borrower---s existing credit facility with corresponding rationale. On a quarterly/semiannual basis, perform a review of the Borrower, assessing the collateral and financial performance trends of the company. As needed, evaluate and recommend changes in the reporting requirements or other aspects of the loan structure based on the client---s performance. In a timely manner, communicate changes to the risk profile of Borrower with a Chief Credit Officer. Ensure Borrower adheres to timely submission of financial and collateral reporting in accordance with loan agreement. Review and confirm accuracy of the borrowing bases for assigned Borrowers. Evaluate collateral analyst---s determination of company's collateral position and address any collateral issues. Approve advances in accordance with collateral availability, credit status, and approval authority. Monitor, measure, and analyze collateral and financial performance of borrowers in the assigned portfolio. Spread and analyze company financials, discuss trends with company personnel, and ensure borrower terms of loan agreement. Review all financial statements, aging reports, verifications and trend analyses to identify any signs of financial deterioration. Participate in monthly portfolio review meetings to discuss financial performance trends of Borrowers and identify any developing challenges and potential remediation needs. Ensure appropriate risk rating of assigned credits. Recommend changes to Borrower---s risk rating and exposure strategy in a timely manner. Keep borrower complexity ratings up to date. Create and maintain analytics to measure risk at the portfolio level. Work closely with counsel to ensure that loans remain properly documented and perfected, conforming to legal requirements, and policies and procedures. Review collateral audits. Maintain integrity of assigned client---s credit, legal, and financial files. Develop borrowers with exceptional service in a professional, ethical and timely manner. Maintain regular and effective communication with internal partners (Manager of Operations, Controller, Chief Credit Officers). Required Qualifications: -Bachelor---s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics. -4 years of commercial asset-based lending experience, credit analysis experience, or a combination of both. Desired Qualifications: -Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills. -Prior experience in credit, investment banking, asset-based lending, or consulting. -Understanding of accounting and finance, and prior experience with financial modeling and analysis. -Ability to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines.
