Job Description:

Will design, create, and maintain enterprise-class Extract, Transform,

and Load (ETL) processes leveraging SQL Server Integration Services

(SSIS), Informatica, Talend, and Pentaho. Will create and maintain SQL

stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Will collaborate with

stakeholders and architects to design and code solutions. Will

interpret written business requirements and technical specification

documents. Will provide guidance with respect to database performance

tuning. Will create, document, review, and implement unit test plans

and scripts. Will investigate, document, and correct reported data or

process defects. Will conduct data profiling to determine data

strengths and weaknesses. Will research and suggest new and current

design and coding methodologies. Will perform peer code reviews.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 5

years of experience performing ETL processes leveraging SQL Server and

SSIS.

OR, in the alternative:

Master’s degree (or equivalent foreign education) in Computer Science,

Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field plus 3

years of experience performing ETL processes leveraging SQL Server and

SSIS.

Special Requirements:

(1) Demonstrated expertise creating and maintaining Extract Transform

Load (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and

MySQL;

(2) Demonstrated expertise data profiling to determine strengths and

weaknesses of data;

(3) Demonstrated expertise working with relational or dimensional models

and using those constructs to develop reports using SQL Server Reporting

Services (SSRS); and,

(4) Demonstrated expertise collaborating with business stakeholders and

architects to design and code solutions based on business requirements.
